October 6, 2007The NanoLands will use the wonders of the virtual world that is Second Life to provide visitors with new intuitions into the properties of matter at the nanoscale.
Status: Nanotechnology Island is almost ready for visitors. It is intended to provide visitors with insight into the scientific realities of nanotechnology today; the importance of nanoscale measurements; and the likely impact of current and emerging nanotechnologies on our lives in the near future.
